Bente Vaupel

Bente obtained a Bachelors in Commerce from Copenhagen Business College in Copenhagen, Denmark. Previously she worked for Phillip Morris International as a Sales Consultant, where she was responsible for the Scandinavian duty free market.
Bente also has experience of advertising having worked for Denmarks´second largest newspaper Pollitiken, where she initiated a new publication called ”Politiken Köpenhamn".
Having joined the Legalis team in September 2012, Bente is excited to begin her next new adventure.

Christian Sourander
Consultant - Czech Republic, Finland and Sweden
Christian is the consultant responsible for the Nordic and Czech markets. He originally joined Legalis in 2008, specializing in recruiting for law firms and in-house legal departments in CEE. After two years of serving mainly the Czech and Slovak markets he completed his second master’s degree in his native Finland and was hired as a Senior Associate for the Nordic desk of a major German executive search company. After working as an executive search generalist for the Nordic market Christian rejoined Legalis in 2012. Christian has two masters’ degrees (2007 and 2011) from the University of Abo Akademi, Turku, Finland.

David Stuckey
Commercial Director - Emerging Europe and Latin America
Principal Consultant - Germany, Mexico and Turkey
David joined Legalis in 2007, and specializes in expatriates and partner/team moves in Emerging Europe and Latin America, as well as handling a number of Legalis’ key regional client relationships. Before joining Hudson, David practiced law for international law firms in San Francisco and Moscow. He has a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master’s Degree from St. Louis University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan. He is based in Budapest.

Ellen Hayes

Ellen has some 20 years of experience assisting law firms and corporate legal departments in Central and Eastern Europe, and now focuses exclusively on Partner and Team Moves and Firm Mergers. She is American, and is a 1987 graduate of the University of La Crosse, Wisconsin. She lives in Budapest with her husband and two children.

Liesel Vasseva

Liesel is a South African and UK qualified lawyer who practiced as a corporate/commercial attorney in South Africa from 2003 to 2010 before joining the Legalis team in February, 2011. Liesel graduated with an LL.B from the Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg) in 2000. She is based in Budapest.

Mariana Dardengo

Mariana obtained her Law Degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, in 2009. She worked as a junior lawyer in a major Brazilian law firm in Rio de Janeiro and was responsible for controlling processes and execution of tax research and tax analysis projects.
